bring your new airplane home

flying your new airplane home from strange airspace in a aircraft you don't have much experience with can be stressful

move it to maintenance

if you annual inspection is expired or you simply need maintenance off of your home base, we can arrange for that

get it back to home base

suck somewhere because of weather? not instrument rated? bring an experienced instructor along and log the time!

fly in your own airplane

we fly recreational flyers or business owners in their own aircraft when they have a mission to focus on

You don't have to be a student or renter with us to take advantage of these commercial pilot services

Scenario: A student buys an airplane while learning to fly and they want to get instruction while picking your their new-to-them airplane or helicopter and take it back to home base. The CFI will walk you through the new aircrafts systems and procedures and cross country flight planning. It is usually beneficial to arrive a day before the flight. Before finalizing the transaction and departing, we verify the airworthiness certificate, registration, bill of sale, and review the aircraft logbooks. On the flight back, the student logs the time and completes transition training for that aircraft.

Scenario: An aircraft is out of annual or 100 hour maintenance requirements, I can arrange for the approval of a special flight permit to get it to your preferred shop, then complete the flight even on short notice.

Scenario: A private pilot has an important meeting in Chicago, a quick flight from eastern Iowa, but otherwise a 4 hour drive. The weather forecast calls for low visibility but the pilot is not instrument rated. Take a CFI with you to ensure you don't get held up by the weather, and log time towards your instrument rating.

Scenario: Just sit in the back seat and discuss the upcoming meeting with your coworkers while a commercial pilot flies the airplane and takes care of the arrangements. Or enjoy some drinks with the family while on your way to vacation. It's your airplane, and you can enjoy it whether or not you're the pilot in command!
